130 days

130 days and counting. UGH!!!!! I thought our referral would be here by now and we would be planning our trip. We are now 11 months into this adoption and no end in site. The hardest thing for me is no information. If our agency would just tell me where we are in the process, who has our information, then I would know something is happening. No information feels like nothing is happening.

Daffodils and Spring

Our daffodils are starting to open. I so love this time of year when everything is budding about to start flowering and the birds start singing more. The anticipation of spring.
I love to garden and the winter is so hard to get through because I can't be working in the garden. Each Feb. I go to the garden and patio show with my best friend. We make a day of it and search for that new plant we want to add to the garden. It gets me excited for the start of planting and all the beautiful flowers to come this year. I have plants that will flower from Feb-Oct planted so bring on the flowers! I'm ready to weed and plant. Woo Who bring on Spring!
We redid our whole yard last summer so I can't wait to see it in bloom this year and enjoy all our hard labor, or should I say Naing's hard labor.

Thanks

Thank you to everyone who helped me through the bad week. I'm doing better now. Naing and I have been very busy, painting, cleaning and nesting around the house. Naing's sister is coming for a short visit tomorrow. She lives in Germany and has been in Canada visiting his family. She is spending a few days with us before she flies back to Germany.
Tomorrow I am picking her up in Seattle and driving back home. It should be interesting since I have never met her, only spoken on the phone to her a couple of times.
She should come visit more often, our house is so clean and Naing did most of it!!
It should be fun, I love all his other siblings. I just hope it doesn't rain every day she is in Oregon.
